Faculty of Economics
Ever since the founding of the University in 1965, the Faculty of Economics, taking full advantage of its close relationship with the business community has consistently functioned to conduct economic research in general, with emphasis on distribution, and meeting the social needs by training well-educated persons. The Faculty of Economics consists of two departments: the Department of Economics and the Department of Business Administration. The Faculty aims at training well-educated persons with broad global perspectives and shrewd information processing capacity founded on solid basis of specialized knowledge.

The Department of Economics aims at training persons with solid basic knowledge to accurately ascertain economic and social conditions and having the capacity to apply the findings in practice.
Department of Business Administration
Search for business administration applicable to the real world.
The Department of Business Administration aims at facilitating acquisition of basic theoretical understanding of business administration in general and further train specialists capable of dealing with diverse issues presented in the real world through practical education.
Faculty of Sociology
The Faculty of Sociology was established to facilitate, in conjunction with activities at the Department of Economics, understanding of formation of well-rounded characters in economic development process and seek ways to improve and practically apply the findings. The Faculty of Sociology consists of the Department of Sociology and the Department of Tourism. The Faculty aims at training well-educated persons knowledgeable in sociological discipline.

The Department of Sociology aims to further understandings on various issues in industries, society, culture, regions, education, welfare, etc. and train persons with practical faculty for reason and ability to take action to resolve those issues.
Department of Tourism
Become a tourism professional by acquiring theoretical and practical knowledge on tourism.
Cross-cultural understanding and tourism are two key words at the Department of Tourism, which aims at training persons equipped with flexible faculty of reason, specialized knowledge and global perspective, capable of contributing in regional, industrial, social and cultural development.
Faculty of Distribution and Logistics Systems
The Faculty of Distribution and Logistics Systems was opened in 1996. The Faculty consists of engineering teaching staff specializing in information science, economics and business administration teaching staff specializing in distribution and logistics and teaching staff specializing in liberal arts education, forming a unique educational and research institution. The Faculty of Distribution and Logistics Systems is pursuing a practical education program, the academia-business collaborated Logistics Human Resource Education Program, under a contract with the Ministry of Economy, Trade and Industry.

Faculty of Law
The Faculty of Law was established to meet needs by the industry and regional administrative bodies for persons with ability to apply legal knowledge and ability to draft and/or implement legislation. The Faculty of Law consists of the Department of Business Law and the Department of Local Government. The Faculty of Law aims to train persons not only capable of logical thinking based on legal knowledge with a sense of balance, but also having culture and humanity of broad and in-depth nature.

The Department of Local Government aims to facilitate students to gain working legal, political and administrative knowledge, to cultivate legal minds and policy formulation capabilities specifically related to local administration.
Faculty of Health & Sport Sciences
The Faculty of Health & Sport Sciences was opened in 2006 with the aim of seeking, through promotion of sports, solutions to various issues that modern Japan is facing. In addition to enhancing performance in various kinds of sports, the Faculty provides students with opportunities to acquire experience and specialized knowledge in the fields of sports and health as well as abilities to find solutions.

The Department of Health & Sport Sciences does not just aim to produce persons capable of performing as professional athletes, but also to train persons that can contribute to maintenance and improvements of health, promote school education and social education for all ages, from youth to senior.
